Safe to say that coffee shops, if nothing else, generate a lot of used coffee grounds on a daily basis. If you own or manage a coffee shop, you might be throwing away those coffee grounds with your other trash, but those used grounds are not trash!
We’ll pick up your used coffee grounds and paper filters (if you use paper filters) and make them into compost. You probably also serve food, and we can take your fruit and veggie trimmings, any house baked bread scraps (no preservatives, please!), and a bunch of other stuff. Working with us may allow you to save money on trash pickup, so it’s possible our service will pay for itself.
More good news: your employees and patrons get to feel good about keeping those coffee grounds etc. out of landfills and helping us make organic compost for Philly’s urban farmers and gardeners.
