We Drop Off a 2 or 5 Gallon Bucket – We drop off a 2 or 5 gallon bucket (whichever you choose). Liners for 5 gallon buckets are sold separately as an add-on. Instructions for using your new composting bucket are sent to you in a welcome email.

Fill with Food Scraps – Anything compostable goes in- food scraps, garden trimmings, leaves, even those Halloween pumpkins.

We Pick Up Weekly or Every Other Week – You just leave your bucket outside the night before your pickup day
Pricing (after the free 30 day trial)
You can choose to try either the 5 gallon bucket or the 2 gallon bucket during your 30 day free home trial. After your free home trial ends, you can choose to renew or conclude composting services with Circle Compost. If you choose to continue your composting plan, then you will pay the following fee starting on the second month. Pay annually and receive a free month of composting beyond the free 30 day trial!

Your Compost Bucket
We provide your Philly household with a 5 gallon or 2 gallon bucket to fill with your food scraps and other organic waste.
5 Gallon Bucket
- You have the option to have the 5 gallon bucket emptied or replaced with a clean one weekly or every other week.
- Lining it with a brown paper bag, which we can compost, helps keep the bucket clean.
- Some of our customers like to decorate their buckets with stickers or other artwork and always keep the same one – in that case, go with our 5 gallon bucket service, and choose to have it emptied weekly or every other week!
- Prefer to receive a fresh bucket each time we come by? No problem – we have options to have your 5 gallon bucket “swapped” at each pickup for a clean bucket weekly or every other week.

2 Gallon Bucket
- Our 2 gallon buckets are always swapped out at every pickup. We take your full bucket and leave a clean one at a frequency of your choosing – weekly or every other week.
- Lining it with a brown paper bag, which we can compost, helps keep the bucket clean.
- Our 2 gallon bucket lids are made from thick, hard plastic with a simple twist on/off lid design.
